Larry Smith is a man driven to share the experiences of life that move him the most. A life-long skier and dedicated cyclist, Larry has made these passions into his life work.
“The goal that I have with each group, with each trip is to create the feeling of good friends riding together. My favorite part of the job is being on the road, riding with folks and showing them places I’ve discovered over years riding and guiding over there. I love it!”
It’s as a bicycle guide, coach, tour operator & ski instructor that Larry best expresses his love for these sports with his unmatched, gregarious style. And as much as he finds joy in these twin pursuits, he thrives on sharing his infectious enthusiasm, skills and talents with others. As his past customers know, to ride or ski with Larry is to become a friend of Larry’s—and he’s a generous host! Whether it’s skiing at Mt Bachelor, or cycling carefully curated routes throughout Europe, all who join Larry are swept along with the grand adventure, transported from the daily grind to share a glimpse of Larry’s wide world of lived-out dreams.
